Last summer we had friends visiting. Ohhh these two…I couldn’t get enough of them. B and I miss you guys mucho!!! Here are a few photos I took of them as they explored Cannon Beach or as they call it here “THE COAST”. It was Kara’s first time touching the North Pacific Ocean’s water. The little things that puts a smile on ones face–ohhh I LOVE! Photos taken with Canon 5D Mark ii. Enjoy!
Today, lover and my team tube socks headed out bright and early to join the rest of Portland for the 2013 Color Me RAD! Lots of fun and getting colored!!! Ben and I’s first 5K race. More fun when you get distracted by punches of color on your face and body!
Lots of fun! I suggest you try it out… More like jog through the crowd of sardines and swerve so you so won’t hit another. Great job TEAM TUBE SOCKS!
Update of the Spontaneous day last weekend. When the sun comes out and play in the NorthWest it is time to not MISS out–my motto since moving to the WEST coast. Along with being a tour person–it was my first time at Seaside beach as well. Very different from Cannon beach–good to have varieities. They are only 7 miles within distance and its so DIFFERENT from one another. Yes, this fits Oregon very well–its just the way it is here and I love every bit of it.
While editing my photos of that day, I was in the black and white mode for some odd reason. Maybe because I might of wanted the more dramatic look AND love for people to paint their own colors.
AJ always end up lugging something somewhere. >_< Thanks Bro for the help! Caught him in the moment–even though he didn’t want to admit it–he did enjoy lugging that IGLOO cooler. *chuckles*
After hanging out a little–playing ninja like little kids again–it got a bit chilly.
Walks on the beach is always romantic and sweet! I adore older couples and watching them being sweet and mushy. REAL love when your all old and wrinkles and the small things are appreciated.
Even the Stella Artois couldn’t keep anybody warm.
Off to Cannon we went. Haystack rock — we meet again.
More photos to share on next post–I was admiring the sunburst and water glistening at Cannon Beach.
Until then Have a great day and enjoy the nature around you–especially when the sun is out to play.
Ohhh my I haven’t woke up at 8am on a Saturday in a looong while… Much less after a five hour night of sleep. Started my day with my hood to coast training–four mile logged with my Nike Flynit one at Forest Park–Leif Erickson Trail with my co-worker.. i was happy to log 4 miles again. Adrenaline/endorphins rush it was! Finished my errands by 1230 and then a spontaneous day to the beach. After heading to cannon beach a few weeks ago I added to my bucket list to go to cannon beach with a sunset. A post for another day. Beach filled day of spontaneity with friends and my half, it was checked off my bucket list! Took my friends to the coast–Seaside and Cannon beach–Success! Plenty of sunburst–made my weekend. Here are some INSTAsnaps to share of my Saturday..Enjoy! All photos taken with iPhone. Hope you enjoyed yours and is still enjoying it if your on the West coast like myself. The night is still going. The lovely sunset!
Savannah: a gal with pretty blue eyes and fearless trait. One of my co-worker’s cherished litte one. If only we can all live without fear like kids many great things can be accomplished. Savannah wasn’t fearful of anyone saying no to her. I handed her a wrapped lollipop. Soon after she asked for me to open it for her. I told her to ask her mom if it was ok for her to have sweets. After asking mom, she was told “If you can get someone to open it for you, then you can have it.” In a room full of people she went to everyone with a lollipop in her hand waving it to get it open. After making 1 round and the lollipop still wrapped she came right back to momma and politely asked for her to open it. No fear of rejection what so ever…she continued to go around the room again. By the way, Savannah did get her Auntie Traci to open it for her! Persistent she was! All photos captured with Canon Mark II 5D by my better half and I.
A lesson to take with you today! Be fearless of rejection or failures. Today go conquer one thing/dream you always wanted. It can be something simple and little. The little dreams lead to the big dreams. Happy Monday!
Ry Ry loves spider man and his 3 year old party theme was Super Heros. Besides my frenchies that I dog-sit–Kids steal my heart away and babies–even more when their around the 6 month mark! Ben and I were honored to join in Ry Ry’s 3rd birthday celebration. All photos taken by the better half with Canon Mark II 5D and Sigma 50mm lens. Ry ry is so polite and well mannered little character. I received a new nickname from him ” Auntie Tweet”. So stinkin’ cute!! I love him.
Anu and Tom’s tie the knot moment. All photos taken with Canon Rebel T3i.
Blessing ceremony and prayer at the Bride’s house prior to heading to the church to meet the groom.
Love the combination of her red roses and the gold.
All details of the jewelry and the Henna.
The flower girls.
The saree–all made of just three pieces:the blouse, the bottom skirt, and the long wrap. It almost feels like its just one big fabric wrapped around the body to form this beautiful dress. Simple and delicate–love it!
The knot has been tied…Look at the happily newlywed!
I had to take one last shot of the Groom before heading out to the reception!
